Chief Information Security Officer
James Fickling is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at SecureCloud+. Joining the company in April 2024, he brings over 22 years of experience in the Defence and National Security industry. James’ previous roles include Enterprise Network Programme Director at Strategic Command and Weapon Engineer Officer at the Royal Navy, among others.
As CISO, James is responsible for developing, implementing and enforcing SecureCloud+’s security policies, ensuring that sensitive data is continuously protected amidst a rapidly changing industry.
Focusing on the latest cybersecurity challenges and technological advancements, James’ areas of interest include mitigating threats, evolving security protocols and developing emerging technologies. These ensure that SecureCloud+ maintains its strong defence posture, maximising its offerings to its customers and partners.
