SecureCloud+ Announces Strategic Management Changes
SecureCloud+, a leading provider of Secure Defence Collaboration services to the UK Defence and National Security industries, today announces changes to its C-Suite structure, adapting to ever-evolving market demands and positioning itself for continued, long-term success under the leadership of Greg Clarke.
Greg Clarke, formerly the Deputy CEO, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and will now oversee the executive leadership team responsible for executing the business’s vision as it continues on its impressive growth path. Greg brings a strong track record in leadership and expertise in the Defence and Security sectors, as well as extensive experience in running Private Equity businesses, positioning him perfectly to lead SecureCloud+ into its next stage of growth and innovation.
Former Royal Navy Officer James Fickling joins SecureCloud+ as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). With over six years of experience in Strategic Command and 21 years of service within the Royal Navy, James brings a wealth of strategic security expertise to the business, reinforcing SecureCloud+’s mission to uphold the highest security standards.
As part of the restructuring, Steven Mills and Tom Bellion will transition to Chief Growth Officer (CGO) and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), outlining the organisation’s commitment to upskilling employees and maximising future growth opportunities. Steven joined SecureCloud+ in 2018 after 12 years of service within the Royal Air Force, and Tom joined in 2021 after roles at Vodafone, CenturyLink and IBM.
Rob Gittins, previously the COO, will assume the role of Deputy CEO, focusing on driving strategic management and operational alignment across all departments. This change underscores SecureCloud+’s commitment to strengthening its leadership team and ensuring continuity. Charlotte Martin has also been appointed COO, taking on from Rob in maximising the delivery and efficiency of SecureCloud+’s operations throughout the business’s projects and offerings.
Raj Sinhal, our co-founder and CFO, will retire at the end of this financial year after ensuring a smooth leadership transition. Gail Bamford joins the company to support Raj as CFO designate. She will formally transition into the role of CFO in April, bringing an outstanding background in CFO roles and expertise in the private equity space.
Founder and former CEO Peter Williamson has transitioned from his executive role to take on the position of founder director. Peter will leverage his extensive network and knowledge within the Defence sector to steer strategic growth initiatives and uphold the company’s long-term vision. These leadership updates reflect SecureCloud+’s focus on advancing its growth potential while honouring the legacy of its founders.
